Terms of business
These terms explain how Fennmore Limited works with you, what we are responsible for, and what we are not. They apply whenever we arrange travel for you.
Who we are
Fennmore Limited, trading as Fennmore Travel, is a company registered in England and Wales, number 17357755, with its registered office at Carlile Institute Business Centre, 54 Huddersfield Road, Meltham, Holmfirth, HD9 4AE. In these terms "we", "us" and "Fennmore" mean that company, and "you" means the person or business we are arranging travel for.
Our role
We act as an agent for the airlines, hotels, tour operators and other suppliers who provide your travel. Your contract for the travel itself is with the supplier concerned, on that supplier’s own terms, which we will make available to you before you book. We are responsible for arranging your travel with reasonable skill and care. We are not the provider of the travel and we do not assemble our own packages.
Quotations and availability
Quotes are given in good faith on the availability and price at the time of quoting. Travel inventory is live: fares, rates and availability can change between a quotation and the moment a booking is ticketed. We will not book at a changed price without telling you first. Where a fare has to be secured immediately to be held, we will say so.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we tell you in writing that it is confirmed and the required payment has been received and cleared. Payment terms, deposits and balance due dates are set by the supplier and will be given to you in writing. You are responsible for checking every detail on your confirmation — names as they appear in passports, dates, times and airports — and telling us immediately if anything is wrong. Corrections made after ticketing can be expensive or impossible.
Changes and cancellations
Airline, hotel and operator terms govern what can be changed or refunded, and those terms belong to the supplier rather than to us. We will always tell you the applicable charge before making any change or cancellation on your behalf. Where a refund is due to you we will pursue it and account to you for it when it is received. Some fares and rates are non-refundable from the moment they are issued.
If something goes wrong
Tell us. Our complaints procedure is published on this site, and we would rather hear about a problem while we can still fix it. Where the problem lies with a supplier we will take it up with them on your behalf and keep you informed.
Passports, visas and health
You are responsible for holding valid documentation for your journey. We will tell you the requirements we are aware of and flag them in your booking documentation, but requirements change frequently and are ultimately a matter between you and the authorities concerned. Check the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office advice for your destination before you travel.
Insurance
Travel insurance is your responsibility and we strongly recommend arranging it at the time you book rather than before you travel — cancellation cover only protects you from the moment the policy exists.
Your information
How we handle your personal information is set out in our privacy notice.
Liability
We are responsible for arranging your travel with reasonable skill and care. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions or failures of suppliers, nor for delay, cancellation, disruption or loss caused by them or by events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
